hen my jewellery goes to new exciting places I feel like a part of me is going there too - I always make a note of the places I ship my jewellery and imagine new customers walking around wearing my jewellery!
I'm also looking ahead to my 2015 collections and jotting down designs. I'm not a great sketcher but I love designing in photoshop, something you wouldn't have heard me say 4 years ago!
. Its kind of impossible for me to think about not being creative as its how I was brought up! My Dad was an artist and my Mum was a film and art historian tutor so we were always making, drawing and painting. Its how I'd like Lux (my daughter) to be brought up. Working from home with Lux (plus my dog pal Bellamy) is a big juggling act but I mainly work while she naps (she's a great napper) and in the evenings when Jon, my partner comes home. Its not always easy and sometimes I defiantly get the balance wrong. Jon owns his own business too so he completely understands that when you work for yourself theres sometimes no strict "work hours." I'm lucky in that I LOVE what I do, its not just my work, its my hobby and obsession! Most of the time when working I don't feel like I'm working at all, but Jon reminds me that I work very hard.
Hope you enjoyed my blog hop! Time for my two nominations!
1. The amazing and inspiring Kate from Scathingly Brilliant. I've been reading her blog for years and I find her so inspiring, she also runs her own business and Etsy shop and always has really interesting posts about blogging. I also love her sense of fun and bright clothing style and the fact that she likes my jewellery makes me so happy!
2. My second choice is Sophie, the beautiful brains behind the amazing hair accessories brand Crown and Glory. Her blog, Crown and Glory Behind the Scenes is a fab read but be warned, if you're like me you'll be reading it for hours! HA! I can't wait to hear her answers as she's always very insightful and helpful.
Whoop! Let the Blog Hop keep on hopping'!
